The "PERITONEAL DIALYSIS WORKSHOP" provided by HEART FOUNDATION INC. & the PHILIPPINE HEART CENTER was great - they provided 2 meals and 1 snack with unlimited coffee for the wholeday workshop.

*** Our experience for today was done by sponsored nurses working from BAXTER & FRESENIUS then after the workshop we all experienced with matching GRAD music while being called upon to receive our individual certificates. We even had group photos taken with Ms Raquel Tejada RN, CRNS (who was the highlight of the workshop she made sure 40+ participants were all taken care off literally at the same time shared jokes that cracked all of us up - ideal tension breaker among the particiapants)***

The next workshop will be on OCTOBER 29 2008 with the cost of 1K - BSN/ Post Grads/ RN are all welcome to join and learn and experience =)

Contents
This five-week "Hemodialysis Training Course" is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide hemodialysis treatment and efficient care to renal patients.

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Apply the principles of hemodialysis in a dialysis facility;
Operate hemodialysis devices, water systems and reprocessing machines;
Practice infection control;
Provide patients with safe and efficient care;
Safeguard patients' vascular accesses;
Coherently discuss hemodialysis with patients.

PRE-REGISTRATION is required to ensure quality learning.
